March Retrospective, an Apology, and April Challenge

I’m a day late and a dollar short, as the saying goes.  March has finished, and the three pot challenge is over.  The challenge was actually easy.  The only thing that became difficult was pasta, which you could see, I did not eat.  I’m looking forward to lots of pasta during the next month.  Oh, and pizza too.

Which brings us to April’s challenge.  There are recipes I love.  I love them because they’re easy, because they’re tasty, and because they’re fun.  But its very easy to keep going back to the well.  And then you get tired and don’t eat something for years because you went on a binge of eating sausages in 2004.  April is about finding new foods, or new takes on old food.  So during the month of April, I shall endeavor to cook a particular dish only once during the month.  Which means that my comfort foods, such as the Roast Chicken w/ Croutons (which I had last night!) will have to be carefully rationed throughout the month.

I’m looking forward to it.  And now, for the apology.  I’ve been kind of flaking on the food pictures, and I’ll endeavor to be better about it starting now.  I’ve forgotten to take pictures of last night’s dinner, this morning’s breakfast, and lunch.  But starting at dinner, I’ll have more tasty food for y’all to look at.
